I admire and respect the courage it takes for anyone to seek counseling for themselves. I know it isn't always easy, so I applaud you for taking the first step in your journey! I provide a safe, inclusive, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment for individuals to process their life experiences and any struggles they may be facing. I strive to empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles and offer a personalized approach tailored to your needs to help enhance your overall well-being and reach your goals. I will meet you as you are, and together we can identify your strengths, change old patterns, increase self-compassion, and strengthen your ability to cope with life stressors.

I enjoy working at the intersection between culture, spirituality, and mental health. I have a special and personal interest in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and others who have experienced marginalization from traditional religious and societal groups. I am most passionate when working in the following areas: spirituality, religious trauma recovery/deconstruction, grief, substance use/recovery, and ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics/Addicts) and family of origin concerns. I also specialize in areas related to anxiety and depression.

I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and I graduated with a Master of Arts in Community Counseling in 2011. I utilize a person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and strengths based approach in counseling. I have thirteen years of experience working as a therapist and supervisor at inpatient and outpatient facilities and in private practice with adolescents, adults, and families. I have provided supervision to master's level therapists and interns throughout my career. I am passionate about helping new counselors find their way in the field and ensuring they're well trained so they provide optimal client care and practice healthy self-care strategies throughout their career.
